Greenlam Industries Director Parul Mittal (C) poses with the award, along with family members and Interzum officials in Cologne.
Greenlam Industries, a global leader in decorative surfaces and substrate solutions, bagged the Red Dot Award for ‘High Quality Product’ at the recently concluded Interzum trade fair in Cologne (Germany). The company becomes the first Indian brand to do so.
Interzum is the world’s most prominent trade fair for furniture production and interior design, which hosted over 1,600 exhibitors from 57 countries this year.
Greenlam has been an Interzum participant for more than 20 years. This years’s award was conferred for its ground-breaking Aurix Collection, which also made its international debut at the event.
The Aurix Collection by Greenlam MFC is a revolutionary breakthrough in surface design, merging exceptional haptic quality with a rich cultural narrative. Inspired by the ancient Indian interpretation of light and colour, Aurix re-imagines the vibrancy of the sub-continent through a refined fusion of rich hues, Italian creativity, and cutting-edge craftsmanship.
Exclusively curated for Greenlam MFC Range, the Aurix surface is the result of an advanced collaboration between Carrara S.r.l (Italy) and leading European surface texture manufacturers.
Parul Mittal, Director at Greenlam said: “Representing Greenlam Industries at Interzum is always an honour; but this year is particularly special. We are the first Indian company to receive the Interzum Red Dot Award for our Aurix Collection. It’s truly a proud moment to represent India and be acknowledged among the global elite on such a prestigious platform.”
Aligned with Interzum 2025’s theme, ‘Rethinking Resources: Circular and bio-based solutions’, Greenlam presented a compelling portfolio of next generation surfacing solutions. It featured flagship collections including Greenlam high pressure laminates, Greenlam Compacts, anti-fingerprint surfaces, exterior grade cladding, Stratus range for tabletops and kitchen surfaces and Greenlam MFC.
Greenlam has five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Behror (Rajasthan), Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh), Prantij (Gujarat), Tindivanam (Tamil Nadu) and Naidupeta (Andhra Pradesh).
