Industry growth
The Indian furniture market size is estimated at US$ 17.56 billion in 2024, and is expected to reach US$ 29.86 billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 11.20%. The furniture industry is on an upward trajectory with a rise in demand for modern, modular furniture and growth in the residential real estate sector, along with the tourism and hospitality industry and the corporate sector.
The online furniture market in India is expected to experience rapid progress, driven by a surge in furniture companies establishing their online presence and selling products through popular e-commerce platforms. This trend is particularly appealing to younger, working consumers.
A substantial and ongoing transition of consumers from the unorganized to organized sectors is expected over the next few years. As this shift occurs, fundamental requirements in the furniture category such as well-designed and durable products will remain crucial.
To help meet these exacting standards, the industry needs to adopt the latest in technology, design, machinery, and raw materials. IndiaWood (Bengaluru and Noida) has consistently offered an all-encompassing platform for both the demand and supply sides to equip themselves with future-focused technologies and thereby providing unlimited business opportunities.
