From May 20 to 23, Cologne will host the global trade fair for the furniture and interior design industries, drawing international suppliers eager to showcase their latest innovations. With registrations climbing, it is clear that Interzum remains a vital platform for the sector.

According to Maik Fischer, Interzum Director, “Despite the global challenges we face, the impressive number of registrations shows the immense anticipation within the industry. Interzum 2025 will once again serve as a crucial gathering point for international suppliers, reflecting the sector’s diversity and strength.”

The event promises to deliver a wide range of ground-breaking innovations and new product launches. Visitors can expect to see everything from high-quality materials and surface finishes to state-of-the-art technologies and smart components.

Leading companies from the furniture and interior design sectors will once again be in attendance, demonstrating the fair’s global appeal and importance. Well-known names such as Blum, Egger, Hettich, Alvic and Häfele will be showcasing their latest products.

Their participation, alongside others like A&H, Meyer and Arpa, confirms Interzum’s standing as a must-attend event for the world’s most influential industry players.

Core theme

Sustainability will continue to be a key focus of the event. The fair’s central theme, ‘Rethinking Resources: Circular and Bio-based Solutions’, will highlight resource-efficient production processes, circular material cycles, and the use of innovative biobased materials.

The awards’ international expert jury will select the best entries from 145 submissions, showcasing exceptional solutions across various categories, including the newly introduced ‘Rethinking Resources’ category. Winning products will be displayed in a dedicated exhibition area on Boulevard North.
