Hafele’s Dynamic Living concept demonstrated how a 18-square-metre space could be converted into 36 square metres of working, living, cooking and washroom spaces.
Häfele made a bold statement with its expansive presence, reaffirming its evolution from a traditional fittings’ supplier to a full-spectrum solutions provider. At the heart of the showcase during Interzum was its emphasis on co-creation and co-engineering.
Several partner-driven projects offered a glimpse into the company’s new customer-centric development model. Under the theme ‘Maximising the Value of Space. Together’, the company showcased how intelligent hardware, lighting and service solutions can meaningfully redefine modern living and working spaces.
One of the standout innovations was Free Slim, Häfele’s latest flap fitting system. Designed for modern interiors that demand clean lines and functional sophistication, Free Slim is defined by its ultra-slim 8-mm profile and space-saving patented U-spring mechanism.
Replacing traditional spiral springs, this technology ensures quiet, controlled motion and enables maximum storage capacity even in the most compact cabinetry. The system supports multiple installation styles, convertible arms, and is equipped with features like multi-stop positioning, soft-close, and push-to-open.
Targeted at both premium kitchens and living spaces, Free Slim promises a simplified installation process with reduced components and enhanced planning efficiency.
Häfele Lighting took centre stage as a pioneer in harmonising “light in furniture” with “light in rooms”, offering a seamless, integrated experience. By linking both lighting layers through intelligent control systems, it demonstrated how ambiance and functionality can co-exist.
From bright task lighting in kitchen zones to ambient tones for living and hospitality environments, the lighting showcase revealed how tailored illumination shapes perception, mood, and overall spatial value.
To address growing demand for operational ease and tailored solutions, the company has introduced Service+ Customised, a value-added service model where customers can order pre-cut, pre-drilled, ready-to-install hardware kits. This not only speeds up production workflows but also minimises installation errors and resource bottlenecks.
Visitors also experienced real-world applications that respond to shifting societal and generational needs. A notable highlight was the ‘Dynamic Living’ concept created by Häfele Hospitality Solutions, offering modular, flexible interiors for compact homes and shared spaces.
