HIFF 2025 underscores growing furniture capabilities

The Hindustan International Furniture Fair (HIFF) 2025 delivered a strong and business-focused edition at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore, bringing together more than 200 exhibitors and over 20,000 business visitors across 15,000 square metres of exhibition space.

With more than 600 new product launches, the event highlighted the expanding capability, confidence and maturity of India’s finished furniture industry.

Exhibitors showcased modern designs, durable materials and production-ready solutions tailored for both domestic and export markets, generating steady buyer engagement and sustained business enquiries throughout the 3 days.

The exhibition presented a clear snapshot of current market direction, with contemporary living concepts, engineered materials and sustainable alternatives drawing significant attention.

Many companies demonstrated upgraded manufacturing processes, expanded product lines and improved finishing standards, reflecting a sector that is rapidly aligning with global expectations. Discussions on sourcing, retail partnerships and long-term supply planning were visible across the halls, indicating strong interest from trade professionals.

A defining feature of HIFF 2025 was its recognition as an MSME-partnered exhibition, which broadened participation and made the platform more inclusive. This support encouraged greater involvement from regional and emerging manufacturers, giving them the opportunity to showcase capabilities alongside larger brands.

The expanded exhibitor base added diversity to the product mix and strengthened the overall value chain by bringing new ideas, skills and regional manufacturing strengths into the mainstream.

HIFF 2025 ultimately reinforced its position as a key industry platform by combining scale, innovation and wider accessibility. With strong visitor turnout, meaningful business activity and a renewed focus on sustainability and manufacturing efficiency, the event signalled continued growth for India’s furniture sector and highlighted its increasing relevance in both national and global markets.
