Interzum Guangzhou 2026: materials defining the future

Interzum Guangzhou 2026 is set to take place at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou (China) from 28 to 31 March next year. The exhibition will cover an area of 1,80,000 square metres, creating opportunities for connection and inspiration within the industry.

The home furnishing industry is poised for a remarkable transformation, driven by evolving consumer desires and technological innovations. Survey data on the consumption behaviour of China’s home furnishing market in 2025 by iiMedia Research reveals that 29.09% of consumers see smart home technology as the leading trend, followed closely by a commitment to green environmental protection (25.35%).

Intelligence drives innovation, with AI technology revolutionizing the manufacturing industry, particularly in furniture. It enhances design, R&D, production, and application services, while boosting efficiency and user experience. Additionally, new materials are addressing environmental concerns and creating unique value, meeting consumer demands for sustainability.

The theme for Interzum Guangzhou 2026, ‘Smart Revolution’, captures this ongoing transformation in home furnishings manufacturing.

Some of the notable companies involved include Arpico, Ateja, Boyteks, Boyut Plastik, Cyber Lock, Dewert Okin, Freud, Henkel, Hueck, Impress, Interprint, Jowat, LamiGraf and Leitz.

The exhibition features strategically designed hall layouts tailored to address the pressing solution needs of the furniture manufacturing industry. Limoss, Linak, Lueco, Match Graphics, Paolino Bacci, Pollmeier, Printech, Rehau, Renolit, Schattdecor, Swiss Krono and Wemhöner have also confirmed their participation.
