IndiaWood 2026 will return to the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 26 February to 2 March 2026, bringing together global leaders in woodworking technology, furniture production, materials innovation, and design-led manufacturing.
Organised by NürnbergMesse India, the biennial event continues to serve as a pivotal platform for companies seeking new technologies, sourcing opportunities, and deeper industry connections.
Spread across 80,000 square metres, the upcoming edition will feature more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries, offering an extensive view of machinery, materials, components, digital tools, and integrated manufacturing solutions.
The exhibition grounds will be divided into specialised zones that allow visitors to explore machinery clusters, surface-technology pavilions, hardware corridors, and software-driven design-to-production environments.
“IndiaWood 2026 will not only display the full spectrum of woodworking and furniture-manufacturing technologies but also create the kind of collaborative environment where companies can learn, connect, and strategically prepare for the next phase of their growth,” says Sonia Prashar, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse India.
Exhibitor showcase
Attendees will find comprehensive live demonstrations of CNC machining centres, edge-banding units, panel saws, sanding lines, and automation-ready equipment designed for factories of varying capacity.
Finishing-system suppliers will showcase spray booths, robotic applicators, curing technologies, and high-performance coatings suitable for mass production as well as premium furniture lines.
Surface-material exhibitors will present new laminate textures, veneer innovations, foils, lacquered panels, structured boards, and engineered composites that support emerging design trends.
Adhesive manufacturers, panel suppliers, and engineered-material brands will display solutions addressing durability, consistency, and large-scale procurement requirements.
The hardware and components segment will include structural fittings, motion systems, connectors, drawer assemblies, profile solutions, and modular systems built for high-volume production.
International software specialists will demonstrate integrated design platforms, optimisation engines, virtual prototyping, costing modules, and factory-floor scheduling tools, illustrating how digital workflows are reshaping efficiency and quality.
Industry convergence
Running concurrently, India MattressTech + Upholstery Supplies Expo (IME) will offer a dedicated showcase of mattress-production machinery, foam-processing systems, quilting technologies, bed mechanisms, adhesives, springs, textiles, and upholstery-supply innovations.
This co-located expo broadens IndiaWood’s scope, enabling manufacturers to source across adjacent segments that increasingly overlap with modern furniture production.
The fifth edition of Wood+ in Architecture and Design (WAD), scheduled for 27 February, will convene architects, designers, structural engineers, and timber-construction specialists.
The conference will feature global case studies, technical presentations, and discussions on mass timber, hybrid structures, façade applications, and sustainability considerations in contemporary building projects.
Visitors can also participate in business-matchmaking programmes, curated technical sessions, guided zone tours, and networking forums designed to help manufacturers, OEMs, architects, designers, and procurement teams identify partners, evaluate technologies, and plan investments.
