Aryamman ushers Staynu tech for furnishings

Group Aryamman has signed an exclusive partnership with Konrad Hornschuch AG, a subsidiary of Continental AG, to introduce advanced interior foils and Staynu technology to the Indian furniture market.

Developed by Konrad Hornschuch AG, Staynu is an invisible, soft protective coating applied to various Skai interior fabrics. This revolutionary technology makes upholstery materials particularly dirt-resistant and hard-wearing, ensuring that surfaces maintain their pristine appearance even after years of intensive use.

A special coating seals the surface so that dirt particles rarely stick to it or, if they do, cannot penetrate deep.

The production of Skai fabrics with Staynu technology involves the use of alternative, phthalate-free plasticisers, solvent-free finishing processes, and energy-efficient manufacturing.

These efforts align with the growing demand for environmentally friendly products in the Indian market.

The Staynu technology is currently available in the perfect solo uni-colour foils extreme matt and Toronto vegan leather series. These are specially usefil in applications in hotels, restaurants and cruise liners; offices, theatres, cinemas and sports arenas; hospitals and nursing homes.

These surfaces that are easy to disinfect and maintain, ensuring a hygienic environment for its users. Homeowners seeking long-lasting and low-maintenance furniture will find value in products featuring Staynu technology.

Damage control

Even intentional damage is no reason to re-purchase or even replace the furniture. Suitable cleaning agents can be used to remove this without leaving a mark for permanent markers, ballpoint and gel pens; ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise; fruit juices, cola, coffee or red wine; lipstick, makeup and even shoe cream.

The enhanced durability of Staynu-treated surfaces reduces the need for frequent replacements, offering cost savings over time. The material is also resistant to fading and disinfectants, making it suitable for environments where hygiene is paramount.
